Raphael Zuber (* 1973 in Chur ) is a Swiss architect.

life and work

Zuber studied at the ETH Zurich until 2001 and then founded his own company in Chur. He is also active in teaching, among others at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, the EPF Lausanne and as a guest lecturer at the ETH Zurich.

In 2010 he curated the exhibition 19 Important Buildings. A Personal Choice at the Swiss Institute in Rome . In 2016 he was invited by Alejandro Aravena to the Venice Architecture Biennale. Zuber showed four of his last projects there.

Zuber is seen as an important representative of the youngest generation of the tendency , Italian neorationalism .
