Raseborg (administrative community)
The administrative community Raseborg ( Finnish Raaseporin seutukunta , Swedish Raseborg ekonomisk region ), until 2008 administrative community Ekenäs ( Tammisaaren seutukunta , Ekenäs ekonomisk region ) is one of four administrative communities ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape of Uusimaa . The western, largely Swedish-speaking part of Uusimaa belongs to it. The Raseborg administrative community received its current name at the beginning of 2009, when the eponymous town of Ekenäs merged with Karis and Pohja to form the new town of Raseborg .
