Helsinki (administrative joint venture)

The Helsinki administrative community ( Finnish Helsingin seutukunta , Swedish Helsingfors ekonomiska region ) is one of two administrative communities ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape of Uusimaa . It includes the eastern part of the landscape including the eponymous capital Helsinki . The administrative community is not identical to the Helsinki region . In 2009, the former Lohja administrative community became part of the Helsinki administrative community. On January 1, 2011, the municipality of Sipoo joined the Helsinki administrative community .
