Rat Island is a small uninhabited island in the Caribbean Sea 260 meters off the northwest coast of the island state of St. Lucia near Vide Bouteille Point in the Quarter Castries .
The island is a continuation of a hill that stretches from east to west, from the center of the island, to the coast. It is located in front of Bisee and divides Choc Bay into Vigie Beach and Choc Beach . The island has an approximately elliptical ground plan and measures 160 meters from east to west and rises only slightly above sea level.
