The Council of Germans in Poland ( RDP ) was the umbrella organization of the organizations and parties of the German minority in the Second Polish Republic . It existed from 1934 to 1939 with its seat in Warsaw .

history

The RDP was founded on October 16, 1934. All parties of the German minority joined it, with the exception of the DSAP (which worked with the Polish Socialist Party ) and the JdP , which, as the strongest organization of the German ethnic group, preferred to appear independently.

On September 23, 1935, Erwin Hasbach was appointed to the Senate by the President of the RDP and was confirmed in this position on November 22, 1938. In addition to Erwin Hasbach, Rudolf Wiesner (JdP, 1935–1938) and Max Wambeck ( VdB , 1938–1939) were two other German members of the Senate in these two electoral terms .
