Ratanapol Sor Vorapin
Ratanapol Sor Vorapin (born June 6, 1974 in Amphoe Dan Khun Thot , Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1990 he started his professional career successfully. On December 10, 1992 he boxed against Manny Melchor for the IBF world championship and won on points. He defended this belt a total of 13 times and lasted until March 15, 1996.
On May 18 of the same year he won the now vacant IBF world title again when he defeated Jun Arlos unanimously on points. This time he defended the belt a total of six times and lost it in his seventh title defense against Zolani Petelo by a technical knockout in round 4.
In 2009 he ended his career.
