Rath is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh . It lies within the Bundelkhand region .

The city is part of the Hamirpur district . Rath is located approx. 148 km from Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow . Rath has the status of Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census, it had 65,056 inhabitants, of whom 34,571 were men and 30,485 women.
