Town Hall (Barie)

Town hall in Barie

The town hall (French Mairie ) in Barie , a French commune in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was built from 1914 to 1922.

The two-storey town hall with corner blocks and a covered entrance area can be reached via a distance staircase, because the building was erected on a high base to protect it from flooding when the Garonne floods.

The right part was intended for the post office and the left for the municipal administration, as can be seen from the inscriptions above the arched ground floor windows.
