Ratonero or Ratero stands for the following dog breeds:

The sole designation Ratonero as a breed is wrong and Ratonero actually means nothing more than that they are rat hunters and the more precise description of the breed comes afterwards, such as B. Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz, Ratonero Mallorquin or Ratonero Valenciano. Kind of like when one generally speaks of a "hunting dog", but of course there are tons of hunting dog breeds.
