The Ratschka ( Russian Рачка ) is a brook in the center of Moscow and a former left tributary of the Moskva . Today it flows into the snack .

The creek is since the mid-18th century on its entire length of 1.8 km through an underground pipe led after 1740 through the water, the "Church of the Holy Trinity on the sludge" (Russ. Храм Троицы Живоначальной на Грязех Location: 55 ° 46 ′ 0 ″  N , 37 ° 40 ′ 16.3 ″  E ) was damaged. Until today is still the steep left bank of the Ratschka at the intersection of Chochlowski alley ( Хохловский переулок ) and Kolpatschny alley ( Колпачный переулок ) 55 ° 45 '19.3 "  N , 37 ° 38' 32"  O .

Formerly flowing directly into the Moskva, the subterranean Ratschka now pours into the Jausa near the Astachowski Bridge ( Астаховский мост ) just before it flows into the Moskva.
