The Jausa ( Russian Яуза ) is a left tributary of the Moskva and after this with about 48 kilometers in length the second longest river in the city of Moscow .

It rises in the moors off the northeast border of the city and flows into the Moskva in the historic city center on the Kotelnitscheskaja Naberezhnaya . The discharge at the mouth is 6 m³ / s. There are 24 bridges over the Jausa, including two metro bridges as well as the listed aqueduct in Rostokino and a lock . Within Moscow, the Jausa is navigable for smaller ships over a length of almost ten kilometers from the estuary to the Glebowski Bridge.

The Moscow State Technical University is located on the Jausa embankment .
