The Raudvika ( Norwegian for Red Bay ) is a small bay on the Von Bellingshausen coast in the east of the West Antarctic Peter I Island . It lies on the southern flank of the mouth of the Hælbreen in the Bellingshausen Sea .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1987 after the color of the water in the bay.
