Rauhhügel (Fichtelgebirge)
The Rauhhügel is a mountain with a height of 402 m above sea level. NHN near the spa town of Bad Berneck in the Bayreuth district .
Geographical location
The mountain is located in the western foothills of the Fichtelgebirge (northeast Bavaria), three kilometers southwest of Bad Berneck and west of the federal highway 2 , which leads from Bad Berneck to Bindlach . To the west of the mountain, the Kronach stream flows into the White Main .
Soil monuments
The area of the Rauhügel is where the black and green pebble slate was found , which was quarried here as early as the Mesolithic , which archaeological finds prove.
