Raúl Di Blasio

Raúl Di Blasio (born November 14, 1949 in Zapala ) is an Argentine pianist.

Di Blasio began his musical education at the age of six and initially dealt with Latin American music such as tango and bossa nova. Under the influence of the Beatles , he founded his own rock group, Los Dibólicos , which was active in Argentina until 1973 with some success. From 1978 to 1983 he was a pianist in a hotel in Viña del Mar.

He then devoted himself to a career as a piano soloist. He released several LPs with EMI-Chile and went to Miami in 1987. There the album El Piano de América was released by BMG in 1993 . Its sequel, published in 1994, reached a circulation of more than one million copies. Other albums include Solo (1997), Desde Mexico (1998), Christmas (1999), De mis Manos (2000), Di Blasio - Gardel Tangos (2002) and Primavera (2008).
