In cultural geography , the concept of spatial effectiveness denotes activities or behavior, especially of the public sector, but also of socio-geographical groups that shape or change space. Especially in the area of spatial planning , it is important to check the spatial effectiveness of measures and to use them according to the desired goals. One instrument for this is the spatial efficiency analysis (RWA) in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan .
