Raupenberg

Raupenberg is a place belonging to the municipality of Diera-Zehren in the Saxon district of Meißen .

The place is to the right of the Elbe south of the Golk Forest. State road 88 runs south of Raupenberg from Diera to Nieschütz . The buildings of Raupenberg and Golk merge today.

The Raupenberg, first mentioned in 1498, was originally a district of Zadel , but was reclassified to Golk in 1928 . On July 1, 1950, Golk was incorporated into Nieschütz and Nieschütz on March 1, 1974 to Diera. After the merger of Diera and Zehren , Raupenberg belongs to the municipality of Diera-Zehren, but is not mentioned as a separate district, but remains assigned to Golk.

In 1875, 33 people lived in Raupenberg.
