The Ravine Bouleau (also: River Bouleau , German: Sturzbach / Schlucht Bouleau) is a stream on the west coast of Dominica . It runs south of the Parish of Saint Peter and empties into the Anse Bouleau into the Caribbean Sea .
geography
The Ravine Bouleau is the southernmost river in the Parish and rises in the area of Piton ( Piton ) in about 500 m above sea level , in close proximity to the border of the Parish of Saint Joseph and adjacent to the catchment area of Coulibistrie River . It runs steeply in a westerly direction and flows into the Caribbean Sea after about 3 km. The Goodwill Road (Edward Oliver Leblanc Highway) has to follow the edge of the gorge in a sharp curve to cross the river bed. Neighboring rivers are the Coulibistrie River in the south and the Ravine Gabriel or tributaries of the Colihaut River in the north.
