Rayan Souici (born February 28, 1998 in Pierre-Bénite ) is a French football player who is currently under contract as a midfielder with the second team of AS Saint-Étienne .

Career

Souici began his football career near his hometown Pierre-Bénite . In 2006 he was discovered by the Scouts Olympique Lyons . He only stayed there until 2010, when he went to AS Saint-Priest . Again three years later he moved to the youth department of AS Saint-Étiennes . Since 2015 he has also been officially part of their B selection. On August 5, 2017, he was allowed to play his first and so far only (as of July 3, 2020) professional game for the French. At that time, his team won 1-0 against OGC Nice and Souici came on in the 79th minute. A few months later he was awarded to the French third division . At Entente Sannois Saint-Gratien , he made a total of 34 league games and two goals, so he was one of the regulars. On his return it was loaned to Servette . Here he didn't play a big role and only played in six games.

Souici has played in several French national youth teams . In total, he made two goals in ten games.
