Rayhon (2012)

Rayhon Gʻaniyeva (born September 16, 1978 in Tashkent , Uzbek SSR ) is an Uzbek pop singer , film actress and honored artist of Uzbekistan ( Uzbek O'zbekistonda xizmat ko'rsatgan artist , Russian Заслуженная Артистка Узбекистка Узбекистка ).

Life

Rayhon comes from a family that has been in the arts and crafts for generations. Her father Otabek Gʻaniyev was a film actor. Her great-grandfather Nabi Gʻaniyev is considered one of the founders of Uzbek cinema. Her mother, Tamara Shakirova, was a famous Uzbek actress and Honored Artist of the USSR. After graduating from high school, Rayhon studied at the University of Foreign Languages, which she finished with a degree in English Philology . She became known in 2002 for her song Baxtli boʻlaman . Rayhon sings lip-synchronic in the Uzbek language, but she does not speak this language and speaks Russian as her mother tongue. She is married for the second time and has two sons who speak Uzbek.
