Raymond Ekevwo (born March 23, 1999 in Ughelli ) is a Nigerian sprinter .

Athletic career

Raymond Ekevwo gained his first international experience in 2016 at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round with the Nigerian 4 x 100 meter relay with 40.39 seconds. In 2019 he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time , where he won the 100-meter run in 9.96 seconds and won the silver medal behind the team from Ghana in 38.59 seconds. He also qualified for the World Championships in Doha and made it to the semi-finals , in which he was eliminated with 10.20 seconds.
