The Rayner Peak is a 1,270 m high and prominent mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 56 km southwest of the head end of Edward VIII Bay and 3 km west of the Robert Glacier .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations discovered him on board the RRS William Scoresby in 1936 . It is named after the British zoologist George William Rayner (1906–1964), a participant in this research trip.
