Legal and notary assistant
Legal and notary's assistant ( r ) (short ReNo ) and notary's assistant ( r ) in Germany are state-recognized training occupations ( § 1 in which to work in a ReNoPatAusbV) law firm and / or a notary is formed.
There are currently around 150,000 specialist employees working in the profession. The training lasts three years ( § 3 ReNoPatAusbV).

In addition to the practical training in the office (in the case of notarial employees, the notary's office ), theoretical knowledge in the following subjects is imparted in the vocational school :
- Law , economics and social studies ;
- Accounting ;
- Civil procedural law ;
- Right to remuneration;
- Information processing .
