Recovery Island (from English recovery , recovery, recovery ' ) is a small island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is located immediately west of Cape Drakon .
Australian scientists named them. It is named after the fact that the island was used by researchers as a stopover to relax on a ski tour from Ranvik Island in 1992 .
