Recyclist EFZ is a Swiss apprenticeship in recycling . Recyclists process old materials into valuable materials and sort and store them properly. After processing them with machines and tools, they safely load the recyclable materials and prepare them for recycling . They dispose of by-products in an environmentally friendly manner. In doing so, they make an important contribution to conserving natural resources.

The Association Recycling Training Switzerland (R-Suisse), domiciled in Winterthur, is responsible for training the recyclers . The training is supported by arv Baustoffrecycling Switzerland, the professional association VREG disposal (FVG), Swiss Recycling, the association steel, metal and paper recycling Switzerland (VSMR) and the association Kunststoffrecycling Schweiz (VKRS), which are part of R. -Suisse get involved in basic and advanced training in the recycling industry.

history

In 2000, under the leadership of the Association of Steel, Metal and Paper Recycling (VSMR), the first training of recyclists began in Switzerland. In 2008, the Association Recycling Training Switzerland (R-Suisse) was founded as a new and broadly supported organization for training in the recycling industry. Recyclist EFZ has been trained in accordance with the new education ordinance and the new training plan since August 2011.

education

The training according to the Federal Education Ordinance and the education plan of the Recyclists EFZ takes place in the recycling company, in the school and in the inter-company courses. The regular training period is three years. The trial period lasts three months. With very good academic performance, the vocational school can also be attended during the training. Vocational school lessons for learners in German-speaking Switzerland take place at the Lake Zurich Education Center in Horgen. The trainees in western Switzerland attend the vocational and industrial vocational college in Friborg. The inter-company courses take place at the Strickhof in Lindau or at AM Suisse in Aarberg. Around 80 recycling companies throughout Switzerland are involved as training companies.
