Red Decibel Records was an American music label from Minneapolis that was active in the first half of the 1990s. The focus was mainly on local bands from the various types of heavy metal , with exceptions such as the Swiss industrial metal band Bloodstar .

In January 1996, the US industry magazine Billboard announced the move of the label to Chicago. Jake Wisely, who founded Red Decibel at the age of 19, became a representative of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers , which ultimately led to the label's end.
