The Reef Point ( English for reef tip ) is a headland at the western end of Cook Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . It is fringed by a small reef and marks the eastern limit of the southern entrance to Douglas Strait .
Scientists from the UK Discovery Investigations mapped and named it in 1930.
