Refitting
Refitting referred to in the archeology a method by re-joining together found stone reductions permitted a core piece to the original piece of a reconstruction of the technology used and the original shape. Furthermore, one can differentiate between different areas within a find location, in that non-matching pieces indicate different processing times.
