History and equipment

The church dates from the pre-Reformation period between 1490 and 1499. The tower is dated to 1553. The building underwent two renovations in 1705 and 1904. The interior was restored in 1985. The tower to the left of the choir has a steep tent roof, which is otherwise atypical for central Grisons. The nave is characterized by a flat ceiling from the late Gothic period. The wooden pulpit was built in 1722. The organ, which was last restored in 1963, with its five-part rococo- style prospectus, stands on a gallery from 1774.
