Reformed Church Neukirch (Safien)
The Reformed Church in to Safien belonging hamlet in Neukirch Safiental is an Evangelical - Reformed church m 1250th ü. M. under the monument protection of the canton Graubünden . The church, which can accommodate 100 people, has a cemetery.
History and equipment
The church, which is located at Treuschtobel , was built in 1697/98 in just 34 days of construction against the resistance of the other Safiental parishes, when after the end of the turmoil in Graubünden the situation in Graubünden calmed down and the desire for one's own preaching place and due to the long distances own cemetery arose.
Church organization
Neukirch forms a parish with Safien, Tenna , Versam and Valendas a merged parish, which replaced a pastoral community in the Safien valley that had lasted for decades . The Evangelical Reformed Regional Church of Graubünden leads this parish within the Colloquium I Ob dem Wald .
