Ferdinand Kottek

Ferdinand Kottek (born April 27, 1874 in Korneuburg ; † June 5, 1955 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and innkeeper. From 1927 to 1932, Kottek was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After attending primary and community school, Kottek completed an apprenticeship in the hospitality industry and subsequently worked as an innkeeper in Korneuburg. He was a member of the local council , held the office of vice mayor from 1919 to 1922 and took over the office of mayor between 1922 and 1938. The roller ferry to Klosterneuburg was set up under his aegis. Kottek received the professional title of Kommerzialrat and represented the Christian Social Party between May 20, 1927 and May 21, 1932 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.

In Korneuburg, Ferdinand-Kottek-Strasse was named after him.

Since 1927 he was an honorary member of the Catholic student union KaV Danubia Vienna-Korneuburg.
