Sternenberg with church

The Reformed Church of Sternenberg is a Reformed church building in the village of Sternenberg , Switzerland .

description

The church was built in 1705–1706 in the Baroque style. It forms a simple rectangular hall with a sign and roof turret .

Furnishing

The liturgy area inside is slightly raised compared to the rest of the nave . The baptismal font and the Lord's Supper are in the middle and are flanked on the left by the organ and on the right by the ambo . An organ was installed in the church as early as 1811 - comparatively early for a Reformed church in Zurich. In 1937 Orgelbau Kuhn manufactured a pneumatic instrument. This was replaced by a digital organ in the course of a complete renovation of the church in 2005/2006.
