Manfred Baumert
Manfred Baumert (born March 3, 1957 in Rastatt ) is a German pastor , theologian , lecturer and leader of the Evangelical Theological Seminary Adelshofen (TSA).
Life
Baumert found in 1974 at a Pentecostal youth meeting in Aidlingen to faith in God . After completing his professional training and working as a surveying technician , he switched to the Adelshofen Theological Seminary in 1978, where he completed his studies in Protestant theology with a BA (equ.). From 1983 he was parish pastor in the regional church community Neu Wulmstorf (near Hamburg), from 1986 inspector in the Evangelical Community Association North-South e. V. and from 1988 its general inspector. In 1991 he began studying Biblical Studies at the Academy for World Mission in Korntal, which he completed in 1996 after studying abroad from 1993 to 1995 at Columbia International University with a systematic analysis in the context of the early Christian community situation as a Master of Theology .
Baumert has been a lecturer in the New Testament and Practical Theology at the Adelshofen Theological Seminary since 1995, where he has been the head of the postgraduate course in Practical Theology since 2003 and its overall director since 2014. In 2009 he received his doctorate at the University of South Africa (UniSA) with his dissertation in practical theology on discovering charisms: a practical-theological investigation in the Evangelical Church in Baden , an empirical study in the context of the Evangelical Church in Baden on the question: How are charisms (gifts) discovered and developed?
Baumert is co-editor of the series Theologisches Seminar Adelshofen published by AVM-Verlag in Munich , lecturer at the Therapeutic Pastoral Care Institute in Neuendettelsau and speaker at conferences and congresses.

Manfred Baumert has been married to his wife Irmgard since 1983.
