Master of Theology
The Master of Theology (MTh) is a master's degree in theology .
In Germany, due to the structural requirements of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs, the Master of Arts is the degree in Protestant or Catholic theology or religion for consecutive courses. A master's degree that deviates from this, such as the MTh, can only be awarded in a further education course due to these requirements.
In some other countries of the MTh is a consecutively on the Bachelor of Theology patch course .
In Germany , the Master of Theology is currently awarded part-time by the University of Marburg . The Society for Education and Research in Europe (GBFE) and its affiliated institutes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland offer the degree in cooperation with the University of South Africa (UNISA). The assessment of the study achievements is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
