Nikandrosz Galanisz ( Hungarian Galanisz Nikandrosz ; born July 14, 1988 in Dunaújváros , Hungary ) is a Hungarian ice hockey player who has been playing in the MOL league for DVTK Jegesmedvék since 2015 .

Career

Nikandrosz Galanisz began his career as an ice hockey player with Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák , the club in his hometown, for which he made his debut in the Hungarian ice hockey league in 2006 at the age of 18 . Since 2008 he has also played in the MOL league , which he won with the club in 2012 and 2013 when he was the top scorer in the playoffs. In 2013 and 2014 he became Hungarian champions with his team . Added to this are the cup wins in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. In 2015 he switched to the reigning Hungarian champion and MOL league winner DVTK Jegesmedvék , with whom he was also able to win the MOL league in 2016 and 2017.

International

Galanisz played in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2005 (in Division II) and 2006 (in Division I) as well as the U20 World Championships in 2006 (in Division I), 2007 (in Division II) and the 2008 (again in Division I).

He took part in Division I of the 2011 World Cup with the Hungarian men's team for the first time . He was in the squad for the Division I World Cup in 2012 , as well as in the 2014 Olympic qualification . Afterwards he was called up to the Hungarian national team again and again, but has not been considered for world championships so far.
