Regattabar is a jazz club in Cambridge, Massachusetts .

The Regattabar Jazz Club was founded in 1985 and is located on the third floor of the Charles Hotel (1 Bennett Street) with 220 seats. The venue is also often used by music students from Berklee College of Music as a venue ( Courtyard Series ). In the regatta bar , u. a. Betty Carter , Lee Konitz, and Milt Jackson on; In addition, from 1989 recordings of concerts by jazz musicians Oliver Lake / Donal Leonellis Fox , Ruby Braff ( Controlled Nonchalance at the Regattabar, Volume 1 & 2 , 1993), Benny Carter / Phil Woods ( Another Time, Another Place , 1996), Jim Hall ( Grand Slam (2000), with Joe Lovano , George Mraz and Lewis Nash ) as well as the Aardvark Jazz Orchestra ( Evocations , 2012) and the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble (with Charles Neville, among others ).
