Regeneration (chemistry)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In chemical and process engineering, the restoration of a substance or system is understood as regeneration or regeneration ( lat. From regenerare, "to re-generate") .

Regeneration includes processes such as

In numerous processes, regeneration does not succeed completely with reasonable effort, so that a residual load of the regenerated substance or system can be expected.
