The Regent company is particularly known as a German manufacturer of tailor-made suits . The company is based in Weißenburg in Bavaria in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . Under the label Regent is mainly menswear sold.

history

Regent was founded in 1946 by Henryk Barig and Michael Aisenstadt in Weißenburg, Franconia . At the beginning only shirts were made. A short time later, the production of men's suits was started. At the beginning of the 2000s the company got into turmoil and had to file for bankruptcy for the third time in November 2018. Operations finally closed on September 14, 2019.

In 2019, the investor Bogdan Jovanovic took over the trademark rights.
