Government of Jan Syrový II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Czechoslovak government Jan Syrový II , led by Prime Minister Jan Syrový , was in office from October 4, 1938 to December 1, 1938. It followed the Jan Syrový I government and was replaced by the Rudolf Beran I government .

Government formation, program

There was an important reason for the establishment of the second government of Jan Syrový: as the Prime Minister said in his government statement, a restructuring was necessary in order to do justice to the tasks and the newly created situation after the conclusion of the Munich Agreement , especially then, because after the separation of the Sudetenland a new state was formed - Czecho-Slovakia .

Government composition

The ministers were in office during the entire regular term of office (04.10.1938–01.12.1938), unless otherwise stated.

In addition to Jan Syrový, there were two other generals in the government: Vladimír Kajdoš and Karel Husárek.
