Regina Polster (* 1962 ) is a German management consultant and professor of business informatics.

Life

Regina Polster studied at the Philipps University of Marburg , where she graduated in 1987 with a degree in economics . She then assisted and did her doctorate in Dr. rer. pole. with Ulrich Hasenkamp in the business informatics department at the Philipps University of Marburg on the subject of sales analysis in product innovation: meaning, survey and knowledge-based processing .

Polster has been working as a consultant for public administration and NPO in the field of administrative modernization and e-government since 1994. In 1998 she took over a professorship at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences and represents the field of business informatics, in particular information management.

Polster is a member of the university teachers' association and chairwoman of the hlb regional association of Thuringia. Since 2014 she has been on the state board of the medium-sized and business association of the CDU Thuringia.
