Reginald Carter (actor)
Reginald "Reggie" Carter († September 1995 ) was a British actor who lived in Jamaica .
Life
Reginald Carter initially worked as a journalist and broadcaster for the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation. He also gained local popularity in Jamaica as a theater actor before his brief appearance as Mr. Jones , one of Dr. No, the antagonist of James Bond , in the film James Bond - 007, Dr. No became internationally known at the side of Sean Connery . Herbert Stass was the German voice actor for Carter.
Carter starred as Father Raphael in the drama Sankofa ; from 1994 Carter played the patriarch Ted Blackburn in the Jamaican television series Royal Palm Estate .
Carter was married to the Jamaican actress Sheila Carter (née Hill).
