Jesenicko region

Jesenicko Region is an exceptional region in the Czech Republic for many reasons . Due to its location, geomorphology and transport links, it is closer to Poland than the Czech Republic. This fact is also reflected in the economic characteristics of the region in which Poland has a great economic influence.

The region is divided into 4 microregions, which are geographically and economically homogeneous. Nonetheless, there are similarities that represent the advantage of the region. This includes

  • the location and access to the Polish market
  • the extraordinary quality of life
  • the well-preserved nature
  • large selection of cultural attractions and natural beauties
  • the dense forest area, which occupies 70% of the region
  • the rich offer of natural treasures
  • and the low labor costs.
