Javornicko microregion

The Javornicko microregion is part of Slezská Haná and consists of the municipalities Javorník , Bernartice u Javorníka , Bílá Voda , Uhelná and Vlčice u Javorníka . The area is 16,213 ha, which corresponds to 22.6% of the area of ​​the Okres Jeseník .

Geographically, this microregion is located northwest of the city of Jeseník in Javornický výběžek. This northernmost area borders on Poland on three sides . The region is also called Slezská Haná - after the Moravian Haná region - because of the high productivity of the fields and the exceptionally good weather conditions . Located on the northwest side of the micro-region, the Golden Mountains , the ans Altvatergebirge followed.

Developed for tourism, the landscape offers natural beauties, vast areas, lakes such as the Velký Pavlovický rybník, primeval forest in the nature reserve, which is also known as the jungle, and numerous castles . A narrow-gauge railway operates in the region .
