Middle Ruhr region

The Central Ruhr Region is an interest group of the cities of Bochum , Hattingen , Herne , Witten and the Ennepe-Ruhr district . The merger took place in 1993.

Concepts are to be developed and implemented jointly in the areas of labor market issues, cultural and media industries, technology centers, advancement of women, retail and center development and regional marketing.
