Regional Parents' Council

The Regional Parents' Advisory Board is a legally legitimized body of the school parent representation at the regional level in Rhineland-Palatinate .

For each school supervisory district ( Koblenz , Rheinhessen-Pfalz and Trier ), school-type-specific election assemblies, which consist of members of the respective school parents 'councils , elect the school- type representatives for the regional parents' council. This represents the interests of the parents of the respective electoral district vis-à-vis the schools, the school authorities and the public; it supports and coordinates the activities of the school parents' councils and advises them on all issues that are important for the parents and schools. The regional parents 'council informs the school parents' council in particular about developments in the area of ​​parental participation. He encourages parents training and is the link between Parents' Council and school parent councils.
