Regional court Oberland

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Oberland regional court is the first instance responsible for all civil and criminal disputes in the Bernese Oberland (administrative regions of Thun , Interlaken-Oberhasli , Frutigen-Niedersimmental and Obersimmental-Saanen ). In 1995 it replaced the seven Bernese Oberland district courts that had previously existed and until 2009 had its seat in Thun Castle ; since then, the court has been domiciled in the same city on Schreibstrasse.
