Regu ( Hebrew רְעוּ Re'u , ancient Greek Ραγαύ ) is a man mentioned by name in the Old Testament .

Mention in the Tanakh

Regu, the son of Peleg , was 32 years old according to Gen 11.20–21  EU when he fathered Serug , the great-grandfather of Abraham . Accordingly, Regu was the great-great-grandfather of the patriarch . After that he lived for 207 years, fathered sons and daughters and died at the age of 239.

Mention in the anniversaries

In the jubilee book , his mother's name is given as Lomna, daughter of Sinear (10.18). His wife is called Ora (11: 1). He is said to have lived at the time of the Tower of Babel.
