Reichsbahndirektion Magdeburg (1945)
The Reichsbahndirektion Magdeburg was an administrative district of the Deutsche Reichsbahn that existed from 1945 to 1990 in the Soviet occupation zone and the GDR .
By 1931 there was already a Reichsbahndirektion Magdeburg of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft in Magdeburg , whose routes were then transferred to the Reichsbahndirektion Halle , Altona , Berlin and Hanover . On August 18, 1945, on the instructions of the Soviet military administration , a new Magdeburg Railway Directorate was established. It was dissolved on October 15, 1990 and subordinated to the Reich Railway Directorate in Halle.
