Reichswirtschaftsamt
The Reichswirtschaftsamt was a Reich authority in the German Empire . It was created on October 23, 1917 and dealt with the economic and socio-political affairs of the Reich. These were previously assigned to the Reich Office of the Interior . He was headed by a State Secretary who was bound by instructions from the Reich Chancellor .

Just one year later, the socio-political tasks were transferred to the newly established Reich Labor Office . In the Weimar Republic , the tasks of the Reich authority were taken over by the Reich Ministry of Economics .
