The Reid Bluff is a 2040 m high cliff in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains , it rises at the head of the Donnally Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2003 after the New Zealand biologist Brian Edward Reid, who had been part of the wintering team at Cape Hallett in 1959 and was involved in the project to study the Earth's magnetic field .
