Reid Paley

Reid Paley (* in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American rock musician. He first sang for a band called The Five , which he formed in Pittsburgh and Boston in the 1980s . He later appeared solo, accompanying his singing with a guitar from Gretsch (1955) and an amplifier from Fender (1965).

After a debut single, Frank Black co- produced the album Lucky's Tune with him in 1999 . This was followed in 2000 by the album Revival , produced by Eric Drew Feldman , accompanied by Robert Lee Oliver on 3-String Bass and James Murray on Trap Kit , with whom he formed the Reid Paley Trio . In 2007 the album Approximate Hellhound followed , produced by Reid Paley, accompanied by Eric Eble on the Czechoslovakian Upright Bass and James Murray.

Reid Paley lives in Brooklyn, New York.
